  • Social Fundraising Page
  • Entrance into the race of your choice

What are the fundraising requirements?

  • BaltiMORON-a-thon (5k AND half marathon) = $600
  • Full Marathon =$500
  • Half Marathon = $350
  • Relay=$250 (per person)
  • 5K= $250

What is AWE and how will the funds be used?

Every year thousands of men, women and children seeking asylum find themselves in the Baltimore area, with no place to go and no community to support them. Asylum seekers have fled their home countries due to persecution or even torture. The asylum process is a very long and lonely journey; AWE is a safe and nurturing place to call home while asylum seekers rebuild their lives. By joining AWE's team, you will help ensure our ability to continue to meet the most basic needs for shelter, food and a sense of belonging for asylum seekers. This year, we will house 75 asylum seekers and nearly 1/3 of those are children. Hundreds of asylum seekers will be served out of our day center and will participate in 15,000 hours of programming in 2019. We cannot do this work without your support.
